    What Information Do We Collect?

We do not collect any Personal Information from you when you use the Services unless you provide us with the Personal Information voluntarily.

    How Do We Collect Information?

    • Yay Lunch collects the Personal Information you provide to us when you create an account on the Website, and also tracks your use of the Website by monitoring how you engage with our Website.  We process all of this usage data to facilitate your access to our services (e.g., to adjust our services to the device you are using), and in an anonymized form for statistical purposes and to improve our site. 

    • If you receive emails from us, we may use certain analytics tools, to capture data such as when you open our email or click on any links or banners our email contains. This data helps us to gauge the effectiveness of our communications and marketing campaigns.

    • We use cookies, and may use other similar technologies like web beacons and pixel tags to collect information. These are small data files transferred onto computers or devices by web sites for record keeping purposes, to enhance functionality on the site, and to customize advertising to your interests.     How We Protect Your Information

    We care about and take your privacy seriously. We implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order, enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of their personal information. We take commercially reasonable steps to protect the Personal Information and the Non-Personal Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

    We store key Personal Information, including passwords, in encrypted formats.  Your interactions with our site are conducted via https, which provides a secure, encrypted session. All payment transactions are processed through Stripe, a gateway provider, and are not stored or processed on our servers. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases, nor can we guarantee that the information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted to and from us over the Internet. If you close your account, we will retain certain data for analytical purposes and recordkeeping integrity, as well as to prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, take actions we deem necessary to protect the integrity of our Services or our users, or take other actions otherwise permitted by law.     Do Not Track Signals

    Third parties may keep track of your browsing activities across third party websites. California Business & Professions Code Section 22575(b) provides that California residents are entitled to know whether we respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals. Certain web browsers enable users to activate a “Do Not Track” signal but we do not currently respond to the “Do Not Track” signal or other similar mechanisms.
